1. Hex Dumbbells
Hex dumbbells have chrome solid steel handles. The heads are Iorn cast with a painted finish and they have 6 sides instead of being round, making it possible. It are availabel in the rubber but Heat can cause the rubber to expand and crack which is an issue if you train outside. Do be cautious for the smell before purchasing hex dumbbells.
Adjustabel Dumbbells
With adjustable dumbbells the weights can be changed based on needs. While fixed weight dumbbells are a solid piece, adjustable dumbbells have three main parts: a dumbbell bar, weight plates and a lock to hold plates still. The best advantage of adjustable dumbbells is that they do not need a lot of space or weights.
1. Spinlock Dumbbells
Spinlock dumbbells allow you to slide the weights in the bar like you would a barbell. After the weight plates are in place, you spin the lock tight to the weight plates locking them between the handle and the spinlock. The spinlock itself can take significant space from the bar meaning you can place one weight plate less per side.
